WAFCON24: President Tinubu Announced Cash, Awards and Houses for Super Falcons, Couching Crew

President Bola Tinubu on Monday in Abuja, has announced a cash reward of $100,000 to each Super Falcons player who represented Nigeria at the just concluded 2024 WAFCON tournament in Morocco and $50,000 each to the technical crew. 

Tinubu also allocated a three-bedroom apartment each at the Renewed Hope Estate for the players. 

The President also conferred the national honoour of Officer of the order of the Niger (OON) to the players and coaches.

The Chairman of Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), and Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, also announce a donation of N10 million each to the players and their coaching crew on behalf of the NGF.

It would be recalled that the Super Falcons defeated the host country, Morocco 3-2 to win the WAFCON tournament last Saturday for the 10th time.
