Saint Obi, Veteran Nollywood Actor Passes on

A formal announcement has been made of the dead of Nollywood Actor, Obinna Nwafor, known popularly as St. Obi.

The talented thespian passed away at the age of 57 on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Jos, Plateau State.

The death was confirmed after days of speculations on the whereabouts of veteran actor.

Various sources from Nollywood, according to THISDAY, have, however, confirmed that both AGN and AMP have brief the public.

Saint Obi was very popular in the 90s and early 2000s as he featured in over 100 movies. 

The Nigerian actor was popular for his role in action movies as well as the lover boy role he played in movies.

As at press time, there was no official 

statement on where and cause of the actor’s death.

Meanwhile, his remains were said to have been deposited at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, (JUTH) morgue.
