Owo church massacre: you violated sanctity of life, religion, Sultan of Sokoto slams herdsmen who attached worshipers

The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Sa’ad Abubakar, has described the attack of worshipers in a church in Owo, Ondo state, (Sunday), as not only a violation of the sanctity of not only life but also religion against the teaching of Allah.
Reacting to the massacre by alleged Fulani herdsmen, Sultan said the attack was against humanity, religion, and a grievous sin.
According earlier report by Town Crier News, the alleged armed Fulani herdsmen, according to eye witnesses, stormed St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo-State on Sunday while the worshipers were observing the Pentecost, a day that signifies the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles, and killed over 50 worshipers, while several others sustained gunshot injuries.
One of the priests who narrated the unfortunate incident, Rev. Fr. Abayomi, said the worshipers and the celebrating priests locked the entrance of the church and his for 20 minutes, when the gunmen invaded the mass celebration
