One Fear Dead, many injured as Bomb Explodes in Nigerian Senate President’s Home Town

Pandemonium on Sunday rocked the town of Gashua, headquarters of Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State, Nigeria following a bomb explosion which Residents into panic.
Gashua according to information available to Town Crier News, is about 188 kilometers north of Damaturu, the Yobe State capital and is the home of the incumbent President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan.
The incident as further gathered, occured at a drinking joint in Abasha area of the town when Muslim faithful were observing late evening prayer.
A source who craved anonymity said: “We were observing the late evening prayer at 8pm and all of a sudden, we heard a loud explosion and everyone scampered for safety and was later told after normalcy that it was a suspected IED that exploded in the Abasha area.”
One person was said to have been killed by the explosion while five was reportedly injured and we’re taken to Gashua Specialist Hospital for treatment. 
The incident is coming less than a week after Boko Haram terrorists infiltrated Geidam town in the night, where they killed about eleven people.
Also recently, two bomb explosions rocked some parts of Jalingo, Taraba State within a week, leading to the death of many persons, while several others sustained injuries.
Although no group has taken responsibility for the explanation in Gashua even as many believe the Boko Haram terrorist group is behind it.
