Nigeria Troops kill eleven ISWAP/Boko haram terrorists in damboa

Reports from Damboa local government area of Borno state in northeast Nigeria on Friday revealed that about eleven terrorists believed to be members of the Islamic state for West African Province, ISWAP/Boko Haram have been killed while many were said to have retreated with gunshot injuries
According to a source, the casualties followed an attempt by the terrorists to take over Damboa town.
The source said. ”This is about the 15 times the terrorists have come to attack Damboa town this year.”
Also, a security source close to Damboa told Town Crier News that soldiers are currently on the trail of the fleeing terrorists with the aim of ensuring that they are well cleared from the surroundings.
“I am inside Damboa, we have repelled that attack but some of our men are in pursuit of the fleeing terrorists”, the security source stated.
