Millions Worth of Property Lost in Fire Outbreak in Edo

Millions worth of properties were lost as fire guy a building in Afowa, Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

The sad incident reportedly occurred  around 1:30 am. this morning, Sunday 12th January, 2025.

According to owner of the house, Mr Pius Itabalumhe, the fire incident began when the house beside sacta Maria Hospital in Afowa, closed to his got engulfed by  fire.

He narrated that his friend ran to call him, only for him to come outside and find out that one of his shops was on fire.

According to him, “All efforts to put off the raging fire proved abortive as the house burnt down completely”, adding that nothing was rescued because they were helpless in such a situation.
