Lagos building collapse: death toll rises to 14

The death toll in the Lagos building collapse has increased to 14, the state government confirmed on Tuesday.
The Lagos State Government also said nine men were have been rescued alive, adding that more equipment and personnel have been deployed to the site to save more lives.
According to the state government, nine persons–all men–have been pulled out of the rubble alive and have been taken to the hospital.
“Unfortunately, 14 others were brought out dead –as at 2pm,” the Lagos State Government said in a statement accredited to its Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso.
