Just In: Plateau State Assembly Speaker Impeached

The Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly Mr. Abok Ayuba has been impeached.

Ayuba’s removal occurred on Thursday morning after a vote of no confidence was passed on him by the 18 members of the assembly.

In his place, Mr. Yakubu Sanda, representing Pengana constituency in the state assembly was elected Speaker.
