Jazz music exponent, sonny Rollins celebrates 91

American jazz tenor saxophonist, real name Theodore Rollins but adopted the stage name “Sonny” Rollins, Tuesday celebrated his 91 years on earth.
He was born September 7, 1930 and globally known especially among jazz music lovers as one of the most important and influential of that music genre.
In a seven-decade career, he has recorded over 60 albums as a leader with a number of his compositions, including “St. Thomas”, “Oleo”, “Doxy”, “Pent-Up House”, and “Airegin”, becoming jazz standards. 
Happy birthday to Rollins who has been regarded as one of the greatest living improviser and saxophone colossus.
