The Nigerian Police Force has paraded six of it’s officers of the Imo command who were caught on camera assaulting students with machete for refusing to let them have access to their phone in Owerri, the state capital.
The command is said to have commenced room trial of the policemen involved whose names were given as, Inspector Amadi Sunday (Team Leader), Inspector Amajuoji Charlse, Sgt Noachian Chinese, Sgt Onwuka Emmanuel, Cpl Nzewuodo Goodness, Pc Emmanuel Chmezie.
The students are from the Imo State University students who were accosted by the men of the Police force in Imo state, asking them to give them access to their phones, but refused and the offers in anger, decided to take the law into their hands by flogging them with machete, not knowing one of the students captured them with his phone somewhere.
