Health problem forces Nigeria Chief Justice to resign
Justice Muhammad disclosed that he threw in the towel based on health ground.
His media aide, Ahuraka Yusuf Isah who spoke on his behalf said his principal, Justice Tanko Muhammad resigned to enable him attend to his health.
Isah who earlier denied knowledge of the development, said the next most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola would be sworn-in later on Monday by President Mohammadu Buhari.
It was learnt that Justice Muhammed came into his office earlier today, without his usual convoy of vehicles and security details.
