Fate of Wanted IPOB Activist Still Hangs in The Balance

0 47

The fate of a self-proclaimed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) activist, Anaenugwu Chi- Nonso Kingsley is still hanging precariously in the balance following his refusal to surrender himself to the Department of State Security Service (DSS).

Chi- Nonso is believe in security circles to be one of the arrow heads behind the persistent enforcement of the “Sit-At-Home” order declared by IPOB across the South-east region.

The IPOB activist who hails from  Enugwu Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state, had earlier been declared wanted after the bloody clashes  between security operatives and members of the Eastern Security Network in Orlu, Imo State and Mkpor in Anambra State in 2021 which claimed the lives of dozens of ESN members during the clashes.

His family home was allegedly burnt down after a failed attempt to arrest him and some of his cohorts.

He reportedly went into hiding and had since been directing the enforcement of the sit-at-home order from underground alongside some IPOB  die-hard activists.
