Emir of Jama”Are dies at 92

The Emir of Jama’are in Bauchi State, Alhaji Muhammadu Wabi III, is dead.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Chairman of Jama”are Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Sama’ila Yusuf-Jarma, confirmed the death.
Alhaji Yusuf-Jarma said that Wabi III, aged 92, died at about 12:15 am on Sunday at the Aminu Kano University Teaching Hospital (AKUTH) after a protracted illiness.
The late Emir was installed in 1970 after the death of his father Muhammadu Wabi II.
Wabi III who was survived by four wives, 35 children and many grand children was laid to rest today at 2:00 p.m. in Jama’are town.
