Edo Assembly Speaker Inaugurates Committee on Public Petitions

The House standing commission on Public Petitions has been inaugurated with a charge to the committee to ensure it carries out its duties with fairness.

The committee was Inaugurated by the House Majority Leader, Mr. Charity Aiguobarueghian on behalf of the Speaker, Blessing Agbebaku.

Inaugurating the committee, he said said the committee is charged with the responsibility of treating various petitions from all strata of the society.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the House standing committee on Public Petitions and member Representing Esan North East 1  Hon Emakhu Addeh said the committee members are men of integrity, who will do justice to all petitions.

Hon. Addeh said the committee members will give a fair hearing to all sides in any petitions to ensure its recommendations will put petitioners at rest.

Other members of the Committee are Hon. Andrew Uzamere, Hon. Frank Uyi Omosigho, Hon. Ojie Inegbeboh, and Hon. Destiny Enabulele.
