Edo Assembly Members Donate to Patients at Neuro Surgical Ward of UBTH

The Speaker Edo State House of Assembly, Mr. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku Friday, led other members of the 8th Assembly and clerk donated N250,000 to patients at the Neurosurgical ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital to augment their hospital bills.

Agbebaku made this donation when he led members and clerk of the House on a private visit to the former Speaker Marcus Onobun, who is receiving medical attention at the UBTH after surviving a ghastly motor accident.

Speaking with patients in the ward, Agbebaku empathised with the patients, praying for their speedy recovery, stressing that the amount donated is to share in their financial burden towards offsetting their bills.

Agbebaku thanked management of the Hospital for the care given to patients and prayed for which recovery for all of them.

Speaking on behalf of patients in the ward the matron on duty thanked the Edo lawmakers for the donation.
