Detained former Nigeria deputy senate president, Ike ekweremadu, wife denies allegation of organ harvest of 25 year old in london

The Specialist Crime Team of the Metropolitan Police in London has detained a former Senate Deputy President of Nigeria, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.
According to Sky News, the two suspects were arrested for alleged conspiracy to harvest the organs of a child who already has been taken into protective custody.
The media organisation reported: “Two people have been charged with conspiring to bring a child to the UK in order to harvest organs, the Metropolitan Police said.
Meanwhile, a Magistrate’s Court in London has denied bail to Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice over charges they trafficked a 15-year-old Lagos boy with the intention to harvest his organ.
The arrest was announced by the London Metropolitan Police on Thursday, with officials saying the couple would be charged promptly before a court in Uxbridge.
However,  Ekweremadu appeared before a magistrate on Thursday afternoon and was denied bail. The case was subsequently adjourned until July 7, after the child involved was identified as a homeless 15-year-old from Lagos, Arise TV reported.
Uche Anichukwu, a spokesman for Mr Ekweremadu, confirmed that his principal had been held in the Uk.

Nevertheless, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice have denied all charges of human trafficking and organ harvesting filed against them before a UK magistrate’s court.

The couple said they did not procure a minor in order to abduct and harvest his organ, contradicting the charges filed by the Metropolitan Police at Uxbridge Magistrate’s Court, London, on Thursday afternoon.
