Many debtors in Warrington, Delta state and beyond have expressed joy over the death of Mr. Vincent Onoriode Akpovughaire, AKA, “Old Warri). Those who spoke to Towncriernews, said the late Akpovughaire has been in possession of their properties, important documents or their personal bank accounts for loans running hundreds of millions naira, noting that they are now relieved now that he has kicked the bucket.
One of the debtors disclosed that he is going to break the head of anyone that will come out to prevent him from taking possession of his landed properties which used to collect loan from the late Akpovughaire.
“Old Warri” is a popular and major money lender before his death. Another of his debtor who is a worker in the IOCs says old Warri has been in charge of his salary for the past six months, leaving him with peanuts, adding “but with his death now, my salaries will now be remaining in my account without someone withdrawing them.
Mr. Vincent Onoriode Akpovughaire AKA Old Warri death came as a shock to many who have encountered him except his debtors who have vowed never to pay whatever they are still owing to his family.
