Breaking: Nigeria Singer, Onyeka Onwenu is Dead

The music industry has been thrown into morning following the sudden death a prominent Nigerian singer, actress, media personality, and politician, Onyeka Owenu.

Onwenu, born on January 17, 1952, Onwenu reportedly died after performing at the birthday party of Stella Okoli, Chairman/CEO of Emzor Pharmaceutical on Tuesday evening. 

According to an eye witness account, she slumped after performing at the party and was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
“

It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli today, and after performing, she slumped. She was taken to Reddington Hospital and she couldn’t make it”, the witness was quoted to have said.
