The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ola Olukoyede has reportedly handed a housing estate with 750 houses allegedly confiscated from the former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development
The handing over ceremony happened today, May 20 2025 in Abuja, capital of Nigeria.
The houses which is made up duplexes will soon be available for purchase by interested Nigerian buyers to enable the federal government recoup its money.
Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, while taking delivery of the houses as contained in the document handed over to him by the anti graft Chairman, announced that the housing units will be sold through a clear and competitive process.
According to him, “This procedure will be promoted extensively and overseen through the Renewed Hope Portal.”
