The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has reportedly arrested a billionaire drug baron, Chief Afam Mallinson Emmanuel Ukatu.
Chief Ukatu according to a statement by the anti drug agency spokesman, Femi Babafemi on Monday is behind the N3billion Tramadol deal involving the embattled suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari-led Intelligence Response team.
He said Ukata, who is also the Chairman ofallinson Group of Companies with a subsidiary that is into manufacturing of pharmaceutical products at the Muritala Mohammed (MM2) terminal of the Lagos airport, Ikeja of Wednesday April 13, 2022 on board a flight to Abuja.
The anti-narcotic agency said Ukatu arrest followed months of surveillance and evasion of arrest.
