Bandits kill two patients, abduct medical Doctor, Others from niger general hospital

Armed Bandits suspected to be kidnappers at early hours of Tuesday stormed the General Abdulsalam Abubakar General Hospital , Gulu in Lapai Local government Area of Niger State and  killed two and abducted unidentified numbers of people including the hospital Doctor and the Pharmacist.

According to an eye witness , the bandits came in there numbers shooting sporadically while carrying out their operations after over powering the security agents and vigilantes guarding the facility. 
The witness who spoke on phone, said one of the victims killed resides opposite the hospital, a retired medical personnel simply identified as Ya- Tachi.
It could be recalled that this is the first time bandits are attacking a medical facility in the State.
In recent days activities of banditry has shifted from Niger East senatorial district to Niger South as this is the forth times kidnappers have been attacking different communities within the area.
Niger State police command spokesman DSP Waisu Abiodun could not be reached for comment as at the time of filling this report. 
However, it was gathered that tension is high in the area as they appeal for immediate support of security agencies and government.
