Anyasi-Agwu Out, Kanu Nwankwo in as Chairman Enyimba FC

Former Super Eagles Captain, Nwankwo Kanu, is reported to have been favoured to take over as the new chairman of Nigeria Premier League champions, Enyimba.

The former board of the club know popularly as “People’s Elephant” was dissolved by the Abia State Government, paving way for the exit of former

chairman of the team, Felix Anyansi-Agwu who was in charge of the team for 23 years.

The Aba giants won nine NPL titles and two CAF Champions League during the reign of Anyansi-Agwu

According to reports from Umuahia, the state capital, Kanu, a former captain of Super Eagles and Premier League winner has been pencil down for the position.
