Anambra Decides: sPO elope with 42 result sheets, as soludo wins in nine lGA
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared a Supervisory Presiding officer in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Anambra State missing.
According to Daily Trust, the Collation Officer of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra, Dr. Gabriel Odor, alleged that the INEC official disappeared with 42 result sheets.
He made the disclosure at the head office of INEC in Awka, the State Capital, during the final collation of results on Sunday.
Odor, University of Calabar lecturer, said because of the development, elections could not hold in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo is leading in the nine local governments already collated. They are:
