Akpabio, Opeyemi Clash at Senate Plenary

There was mild drama today at the National Assembly after Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele at plenary session.
Both Akpabio and Opayemi are members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The exchange was said to have happened when the senate was about going on recess on Tuesday.
It was gathered the Senate President, Akpabio had instructed Senate Leader Bamidele to propose a break, with plans to return to session later in the day.
However, when Bamidele stood up, he pleaded to continue with the next item on the agenda.
Akpabio quickly interrupted Bamidele and insisted on taking a break immediately. He called for a vote, which went in his favour.
After Bamidele refused to move the motion for recess, Akpabio then asked the new Senate Chief Whip, Senator Muhammed Tahir Monguno, to do so instead.
