The Abia state governor – Alex Otti whom I consider the best governor in Nigeria currently, has indicated moves to engage and arm The Eastern Security Network (ESN) to protect indigenes of Abia state, especially farmers who are constantly attacked by Armed Fulani herdsmen.
These demonic Fulani herdsmen has infiltrated almost all the communities in Southern Nigeria and Middle Belt, destroying matured farm crops, rapping women, kidnapping and killing unarmed members of these communities.
“If the Nigerian police and military refuse to act against these bandîts, I have no choice but to authorize the ESN to defend Abia State. Sometimes, madness can only respond to madness,” the governor said.
Alex Otti insisted that the Armed forces are aware of all the attacks across Nigeria and has refused to act to protect innocent Nigerians, that he is faced with the only option of engaging the ESN to protect his people.
