Tinubu Sacks Top Agency Official
Halima Shehu, National Coordinator, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), has been relieved of her duties by President Bola Tinubu.She was reportedly
suspended by the President due to allegations of financial misappropriation leveled against her.
The suspension of Shehu came just two months after the Senate confirmed her appointment as tge the national Coordinator of NSIPA.
Her appointment as the national coordinator of NSIPA was approved by Tinubu on October 12, 2023.
Meanwhile, the agency’s National N-POWER Programme Manager, Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, has been appointed in an acting capacity as the NC/CEO while the investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
