Owerri Federal Constituency Representative, Rt. Hon Tochukwu Okere Becomes House C’ttee Chairman on Diapora Affairs

The member, representing the good people of Owerri Federal Constituency, in the Federal House of Representatives (FHR), Rt. Hon. Tochukwu Okere, has been appointed Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora Affairs.

Owerri federal constituency is made up of Owerri, Municipal LGA, Owerri North LGA and Owerri West LGA. 

The appointment was announced at the floor of the House by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tadudeen Abbas who is the Speaker of the 10th Assembly in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly. 

Before this latest appointment, Rt. Hon. Okere was formerly the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Christian Pilgrims

Announcing that appointment, Speaker Abbas said the new position takes immediate effect.
