Nigerian Envoy in Australia Urges Support for Super Falcons Cracker Against England

The Nigeria High Commissioner to Australia, His Excellency Anderson Madubike has called on Nigerians all over the world to support the Nigeria woman national football team the Super Falcons as they trade tackles with the lioness of England in the round of 16 encounter in the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand.

The high commissioner made the call while speaking ahead of the crucial encounter billed to take place on Monday 8:30am Nigeria time which is nine hours behind Central Australia time.

Madubike said, the Nigerian girls are being the most talked about in the competition because of their determination and result oriented, hence they need all the supports from Nigerians to be able to overcome whatever opposition that comes their way especially as they face one of the competition favourites, England.

He suggested that Nigerians should take selfies while watching the match and post on social media as according to him, “it will go a long way to give moral boaster to the girls when they come across it.

The super falcons finished as runners up in group B with five points from three games behind Australia who topped with six points losing to only Nigeria 2:3.

England are coming on the heel that they topped their group.
