Many fear dead as explosion rock Catholic Church in Owo Town of Ondo State

An undisclosed number of persons have reportedly died as a result of an explosion on Sunday that rocked St. Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Owo is the hometown of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

According to sources an eye witness, the explosion on the church grounds killed several people and injured many who have been admitted in hospitals with the area for treatment.
The witness who Identified himself as Kehinde Ogunkorode, said the incident caused chaos in the vicinity, with residents fleeing for safety after being caught off guard.
